BC Healthy Kids Program
Check with your dentist/optician to make sure they participate in the program. You are automatically eligible if you have MSP premium assistance. Children get $2,000 of free dental every two years plus emergency dental. Children get free lenses and basic frames once a year with a current prescription. Children get free hearing aids, repairs, and cochlear implants. (Orthodontics and Contacts are not covered.)

Parent Connect is an outreach support program designed to assist parents, with children ages 0-6, who are facing challenges and may be isolated from needed supports. We provide advocacy and emotional support to families in addition to information on child development, behavioural challenges, and effective parenting strategies.

Come and play, meet friends, have a snack and join us for storytime at our free REACH Parent & Tot Drop in Programs. Tuesday & Thursday mornings at Reach PLC, Tuesday afternoons at McCloskey Strong Start and Wednesday afternoons at Pinewood Leisure Centre.
