BC Healthy Kids Program
Check with your dentist/optician to make sure they participate in the program. You are automatically eligible if you have MSP premium assistance. Children get $2,000 of free dental every two years plus emergency dental. Children get free lenses and basic frames once a year with a current prescription. Children get free hearing aids, repairs, and cochlear implants. (Orthodontics and Contacts are not covered.)

Parent Connect is an outreach support program designed to assist parents, with children ages 0-6, who are facing challenges and may be isolated from needed supports.
We provide advocacy and emotional support to families in addition to information on child development, behavioural challenges, and effective parenting strategies.

Did you know that babies begin to recognize voices even before they are born? That means it is never too early to start reading to your baby. This group is very organic; it can be whatever you need it to be. If there is anything you would like to talk about or read up on, we can research it in the library. Join us and make this group your own! (We meet once a month, see the library website for more details)
