We provide emotional support, information, resources, and help in navigating services for parents & caregivers of a child, youth or young adult with a mental health and/or substance use challenge. We know how important you are, and that you might need some support now too. We are also parents of kids with mental health and/or substance use challenges. We are here for you and want to help. We help children and young people by helping their family and other caring adults. Your family matters to us-we know children and young people do better when the adults who care about them are supported. OUR SERVICES ARE FREE. NO WAITLIST. WE GET IT. Boys and Girls Club of South Coast BC (ParentConnect Program)
Parent Connect is an outreach support program designed to assist parents, with children ages 0-6, who are facing challenges and may be isolated from needed supports. We provide advocacy and emotional support to families in addition to information on child development, behavioural challenges, and effective parenting strategies.
