Learn basic gymnastics skills while having fun and getting fit! For boys and girls who want to learn how to do a cartwheel, swing from bars, jump on a trampoline, and have better balance, strength and coordination for other sports. It’s also a great starting point for kids who are interested in progressing to more advanced gymnastics.
DGS offers day camps during Winter Break, Spring Break, summer and on Pro-D Days. Our week-long camps give you maximum flexibility – you can sign up for the day, or the entire week! Each day of camp, we offer gymnastics plus an activity or field trip such as:
Swimming or skating at the Ladner Leisure Centre
Visiting the local places such as the Library and Earthwise
Creating games and crafts for Circus or Art days at the gym
And that’s just a small sample of what we offer!

Did you know that babies begin to recognize voices even before they are born? That means it is never too early to start reading to your baby. This group is very organic; it can be whatever you need it to be. If there is anything you would like to talk about or read up on, we can research it in the library. Join us and make this group your own! (We meet once a month, see the library website for more details)
Parent and Tot Drop in at McCloskey Strong Start on Tuesday afternoons from 1-3 pm. Come and play, learn and connect, all with an emphasis on West Coast cultures.
