Yoga and Mindfulness for Self-Regulation: Creating a Mindful Classroom – In Person Workshop

In this workshop, you’ll learn a variety of hands-on activities to easily integrate yoga and mindfulness into the home, classroom, or therapeutic environment. Practical tools such as child-friendly breathing techniques, mindful movement activities, games for connection and community, and guided relaxations will be demonstrated in ways that are easy to implement, bringing a joyful connection to children’s lives. Children’s yoga helps to develop essential tools such as self-regulation, and a strong mind-body connection, and introduces skills that help children to find a sense of inner calm. These tools are gifts that can transform the lives of the children that receive them. Come join us for this fun and interactive introduction to mindful yoga for children. Presenter: Jennie Abbot Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. SUITABLE FOR ALL EARLY LEARNING AND CHILD CARE PROFESSIONAL
