Math Projects: Math Connections Through Making and Creating – In Person Workshop

In this session, Janice will share several math-making projects using easily accessible materials such as paper, sticks and recyclables. Participants will engage in projects such as origami, weaving, and box puzzles and through the process will be encouraged to make their own mathematical connections. Janice will highlight connections to the BC mathematics curriculum and provide suggestions for resources to support participants with incorporating these projects into their classrooms, before and after school programs or childcare settings.
